Meet Kate

Kate is currently studying Ecology and Conservation at West Chester University and brings a lifelong love of animals to the Five Paws team. Her home is full of pets, including dogs, birds, ducks, chickens, a rabbit, and more — giving her experience caring for animals of all kinds. In addition to pet care, Kate works in avian ecology research, helping monitor bird nesting sites and study Tree Swallows and Eastern Bluebirds during the summer. She is deeply passionate about environmental conservation and enjoys educating others about the natural world. Outside of work and school, Kate loves painting, crafting, scrapbooking, thrifting, and spending time with friends. Known for her creativity and artistic talent, she is always exploring new hobbies and creative projects. She also volunteers as a face painter at a local arts festival each summer. Kate’s caring personality, attention to detail, and love for animals make her a wonderful addition to the Five Paws team.
