Meet Rich

Rich is a newer team member with Five Paws, Media local, and lifelong animal lover. He grew up with dogs and has owned cats, but was always referred to as a local "animal whisperer", caring for all types of pets for friends and neighbors throughout his life. From Yorkies to Tebetan Mastiffs, cats to bearded dragons, and even an occasional horse, Rich is always ready to answer the call of the wild. 

From growing up in Garnet Valley and attending Penn State University in State College, he has settled in Media for the last decade. He helps out with local events annually including the holiday parades and starting a local chess club. He also has worked in management roles for international logistics freight forwarders for many years. His other interests include basketball, skiing, and co-captain of a team for the American Pool Association for over 10 years.

Rich is also currently fostering a lovable tuxedo cat for friends that had to move across the country for work for several months and couldn't bring her with them. He is loving every minute and will be pursuing being a cat foster parent once his friends return to the east coast.

Rich is having a blast working with the Five Paws team and is very excited to become friends with all types of pets in the years to come!
